Sigonella

Sigonella

This was my home in 8th and 9th grade. Last Tuesday Al and I rode the bus to Catania and then rented a car to drive to Sigonella. Well, it turned out to be very stressful driving in Sicily, expensive and we didn’t get on the base. But we did see it from the perimeter and it had changed so much that it didn’t matter. We saw the view of Mt. Etna from Sigonella.
We mostly were concerned about getting the car back to the rental place. Driving in Sicily is not for the meek or mild. The day was another adventure!
