The View from Mdina

The View from Mdina

Yesterday we drove near Mdina on a tour bus. Today we went to Mdina. It’s the ancient capital of Malta in the middle of the island. It’s built where you can see in all directions. That made it easy to protect. It is surrounded by a huge wall and the streets are really narrow and crooked. It really is unique and beautiful.
We began our visit by watching a video about the history of Mdina. We watched with a large group of lively Italian students who were here for a week to study English. They did get quiet once the video began, maybe because many of them fell asleep.
